“Bioluminescent Erosion” is a re-imagined immersive exhibition that deconstructs and challenges ideas of identity, queerness, & social constructs surrounding gender.

 

How can we radically expand into the fullness of ourselves by eroding the systems that reject us?

How do we free ourselves from the multiplicity of things tied to memory (such as shame, power, or desire) ? 

 

This is a collective unfurling into a realm of subversive seduction through a collection of raw poetry, photo archives, & sculptural installations. Using multiple mediums, the work is heavily inspired by fluidity, obscurity/distortion, sexuality, texture, the absence of light, deep-sea organisms, fungi, memory & the transformation of trauma.

We are able to explore & embody the things we are taught we are not allowed to be. We are in the process of unlearning expectations placed upon the body. Permission is not sought after-  f*ck my real name. We reclaim our power through these acts.
